Yves Bisoma: Aston Villa target is in no hurry to leave Brighton in January after top Mali midfielder teams follow suit | football news

Yves Bisoma is in no rush to leave Brighton this month amid interest from Aston Villa – and coach Graham Potter is “confident” he will stay.

The future of the financial midfielder will become even clearer when he returns to the UK after the Africa Cup of Nations later this month, and he has been pursued by bigger clubs from the Premier League and beyond.

So Bosuma can wait until the summer to see what other options emerge, as Manchester United, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all look for players on his profile.

If Villa matches Brighton’s valuation this month, which could be north of £40m and even £50m, Bisuma will likely consider playing for Steven Gerrard and his ambitious club.

Friday January 14 7:00 pm

Departure at 8:00 pm.

But for now, Bisoma remains fully focused on the CAN, playing for Mali until at least January 20.

Bassoma came off the bench in Wednesday’s extraordinary match against Tunisia, which witnessed the last moments after post-match talks and without an angry Tunisian team, after the full-time referee stopped before the end of the 90 minutes.
