Users can now enjoy a seamless browsing experience between Galaxy smartphones and the Galaxy Book series

As part of Samsung’s ongoing efforts to improve connectivity between PCs and mobile devices, Microsoft Phone Link’s new Recent Websites feature is now available on Galaxy smartphones and the Galaxy Book series.

Connected devices enhance productivity and convenience, but the boundaries of connectivity can always be pushed further. According to a recent Samsung survey[1]77% of people use multiple apps and devices for the same task, but they also find them boring. With this in mind, Samsung Electronics is always looking for new ways to deliver a connected experience that orchestrates the strengths and capabilities of smartphones, computers, tablets, watches, and more to achieve a truly seamless multi-device ecosystem.

One of these new communication features is modern websites[2] (Update for the Microsoft Phone Link app[3] Now available across the entire Galaxy Book range), which allows users to continue their browsing sessions on their PC. This feature, which allows switching from a phone to a Galaxy Book, makes the browsing experience smoother and more mobile, and ensures users with optimal productivity.

Galaxy Book users can now find recent sessions on their smartphone with a single tap, saving them the hassle of browsing across multiple devices and providing convenient and responsive navigation. For example, suppose a user opens multiple search tabs on his phone. At some point, it may be better to open the same tabs on a larger screen to work with computer applications. With the modern websites feature, this task is now possible and allows users to open new tabs without having to go back to check search terms or browsing history.

Then open the Microsoft Phone Link application or the context menu on your computer, which will display a list of websites that you have recently opened on your smartphone. Clicking on any of these locations will launch it directly on your Galaxy Book.

New websites are just one of the many new connectivity features that make the calling experience between Galaxy smartphones and the Galaxy Book line richer and more fluid. By unlocking the incredible capabilities of devices, Samsung enables customers to use and combine their devices in more innovative and accessible ways. Stay tuned for the upcoming Galaxy reveal to learn more about Samsung’s efforts to enhance multi-device connectivity across the Galaxy Book range and beyond.
