The impressive Bruce Willis movie is in the top 10 list of Netflix movies

Science fiction lovers, rejoice! Looper has hit Netflix, and the 2012 action movie has already reached the top of the streaming charts. For those who missed seeing this underrated movie when it was first released, Looper is set in the not so distant future where fans can send killers back and forth to do their dirty work, and Joe (Bruce Willis) comes face to face with his past (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). The movie stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Looper is currently ranked #5 in the Netflix movie rankings.

Looper was directed by Rian Johnson, who has had hits like Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Knives Out. The film was a critical and commercial success and currently has a 93% review and 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It grossed over $176 million at the international box office and made Johnson one of the most sought-after directors today.

Looper showed off some awesome facial prosthetics to make Gordon-Levitt look like Willis. “It was kind of an amazing transformation,” Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter. “Bruce freaked out a little,” Gordon-Levitt added. “We knew we weren’t going to make Joe look like a real young Bruce Willis,” Johnson continued. “So we picked some key features and tweaked them.”

Willis also praised the film, calling Looper the best job of his career. “It’s better than anything I’ve ever done. … [director] Chubby [Johnson] He did something great,” Willis told Esquire. “He designed an original story. He wrote it, sold it, held it, realized it, and finished it. It’s hard to do in this city. Someone is always in the process. It did not happen here. And if he had done nothing other than this colossal effort, he would have done it at work. unbelievable. “

“It’s more than just an original story,” Willis continued. “It’s a story people will talk about and see twice. And about what they were arguing about. I was arguing with myself about the story when I first read it. That’s it for Rian Johnson, from start to finish. Great, great director.”
