Sony is closing its PS3, PSP and PS Vita online stores soon

Gone are the days when you had to buy a cartridge to get the entire game. It’s the end of the beans

It is not yet official from Sony, but the site The player Just release information the source of which appears to be relatively reliable. Naturally, at the end of this month, Sony will announce the closure of the PS Store on Playstation 3 and PSP on July 2, 2021, as well as the PS Vita on August 27th.

Many of the games available on these devices are not currently available on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. Which means that with the store closed, it will not be possible to access the large number of games that we had previously purchased. At least everything will depend on Sony, as store purchase can be closed, but the games we got may not be downloading. Everything depends on the policy and declarations of the Japanese manufacturer.
