In 2020, the Municipal Community took the opportunity to create a social living space, approved by Café du Tarn. After long preparation and diagnostic work in the field, Arc-en-Ciel finally saw the light of day in September 2021.
What is a social living space and what is its purpose? It is a nearby place that aims to create links between the residents of the area as well as the solidarity of the neighbourhood, by involving the residents. For this, it relies on workshops, discussion groups and discussion moments on specific topics arising from the real needs of the territory.
Arc-en-Ciel will be a mobile and itinerant service. Adeline Gazelle, facilitator of the project, will travel regularly to each municipality to provide fun moments around the three topics that will be highlighted: digital inclusion, parenting, and health/well-being. Over time and population takeover of Arc-en-Ciel, these themes will evolve according to the needs expressed. “L’Arc-en-Ciel is open to everyone, regardless of age, marital status or occupation. Everyone needs to live and shine”Adeline identifies.
At the beginning of the year, Adeline will come to each village to meet the residents and lead a friendly moment.
