SkateBIRD release postponed to September 16th – Skatebird

We recently announced the postponement of Qena: Soul Bridge in September. Now it’s SkateBIRD’s turn whose release date has been pushed back from August 12 to September 16 as the developers at Glass Bottom Games hope to release the game simultaneously on all platforms. In addition, this postponement should allow the team to improve the interface, sound and camera in particular.

“It was not an easy decision,” said Megan Fox, founder of Glass Bottom Games. “But SkateBIRD is a game that is all about doing the best we can and we owe that to our fans as well, and to our bird-loving friends to make sure the game comes in at its best. As a small studio. Independent, it’s hard to allow for a game to be cross-platform compatible. It takes a lot. From work. The release date is now set for September 16, 2021 and we will step up our efforts to ensure SkateBIRD is released on PC and consoles on the same day!”

The studio also took the opportunity to reveal some of the content that will be made available after the game’s release. We learn about the existence of the project with the cool name “Pet the Bird Mode” as well as the arrival of “Skate” the “paradise stage.” More information about this will be revealed soon.
