Shaman King has confirmed the release of Season 2 of its new episodes on Netflix! The remastered anime series from Hiroyuki Takei’s original manga series was one of the most interesting releases of the year, given that not only was the original anime modified 20 years ago, but the manga series wasn’t. It was a complete ending for several years after the anime came out. Today, fans of the series finally have a chance to see a faithful adaptation after all these years.
The series has been airing weekly in Japan since its debut in April, but it didn’t release on Netflix in other countries until later this summer. Fans have been wondering when the next set of episodes will be available on the streaming service, and Netflix announced that new Shaman King episodes will be available on the service starting December 9. Unfortunately, there is no indication of how many new episodes will be available.
The series will be considered “Season Two” when new episodes arrive on Netflix, and while there is no confirmation yet, this new batch of episodes will likely be the series’ second court that includes 13 episodes. -24. The series aired a few more episodes and almost completed its third set of episodes, but we’ll likely only receive the second wave of 12 episodes with the original Japanese version and an English dubbed version, as with episode 12. Unfortunately, all of this isn’t confirmed until the new episodes air, but luckily, it won’t be long before fans outside of Japan will be able to find out what’s left of the reboot. If you want to catch up on Netflix before these new episodes air, Netflix officially describes Shaman King as follows: “Medium Yoh Asakura participates in a fighting tournament held every 500 years, competing with other shamans. With the goal of becoming the powerful Shaman King.” But what do you think?
