The new Galaxy A series devices represent the mid-range in the Samsung Which unveils today the A52, A52 5G and A72.

If the A52 is offered in two versions, 4G and 5G, the A72 remains 4G that mainly features a larger screen and battery.

The A52 offers a 6.5-inch screen and a 4,500 mAh battery, compared to the 6.7 inches and 5,000 mAh of the A72 phone and the definition remains the same at 1080p. Either way, Samsung is offering its two-day autonomy.

Undoubtedly, the main point of the three A-Series models is the camera and video functions.

There aren’t two or three photo sensors, but five!

  • Ultra-wide angle (123 degrees), 12 megapixels
  • Main, 16 or 64 megapixels with optical stabilization and autofocus
  • Macro, 5 megapixels
  • 5 MP depth sensor – on the A72 it was replaced with 8 MP 3x zoom
  • And the usual front sensor with a resolution of 32 mega pixels.

By default, the main sensor records a 16MP with Quad Bayer technology as four pixels are combined into one. If you want more accurate files, the pixel binning will be canceled and you will get 64MP photos.

To reduce digital noise and stray pixels in night mode, the camera takes up to 12 photos to process in a single image. In this case, optical stabilization helps to maintain the stability of the device.

Finally, these devices can record videos in 4K at a rate of up to 30 frames per second.
