Project L – Riot Games defines its fighting game, Project L

We’ve always been talking about Project L from Riot Games that’s finally getting underway: the game takes the form of a 2v2 fighting game set in the Runeterra universe and League of Legends competing against each other.

Among the various projects under development in Riot GamesThe group has long been known to be working on a fighting game – rumors have been swirling since the acquisition of Radiant Entertainment in 2016 and on the sidelines of Worlds 2019, the studio confirmed the game’s development. L . project. Today, brothers Tom and Tony Cannon (founders of Studio Radiant) introduce in more detail the main mechanisms of this famous project L.

So the game takes the form of a fighting game that takes place in the world of Runeterra and includes the main characters of League of Legends – The video presentation (below) particularly confirms the presence of Jinx or Ekko, but also of Darius or Ahri, represented here with Character design anime method.

Small originality, the game integrates team battles, in a 2-vs-2 format, in order to enhance the strategic dimension of the clashes.
Regarding Play, we also reserve that the developer intends to apply the principles Bushnell’s law (A game that’s easy to learn, but hard to master), especially in managing sequences and combinations of attacks. The player must above all succeed in developing the synergy between the abilities of his two protagonists and making them coexist effectively with the development of battles.
The game also includes a multiplayer dimension, hence special attention is paid to the network icon, to ensure the best gaming sensations even with poor connectivity.
