Eugenie Le Sommer did not go to the United States for vacation. Barely finished the season with OL, top scorer in the history of the French women’s team (86 goals) joined the United States to discover the American championship with OL Reign, the Seattle franchise passed under the flag of Ron in January 2020, where she meets some other American star Megan Rapinoe. Less than three weeks later, the 32-year-old striker discovered a “very competitive league, with a level above D1 Arkéma”. She finally opened her meter – the way – after 7 matches and now she is well established, in the team as in life. From Tacoma (Washington), the hometown of OL Reign located 45 minutes from Seattle, Eugénie Le Sommer picks up her phone to tell Figaro about the beginning of her American dream.
