Ozzy Osbourne returns to UK after ‘fed up’ of murders in US

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that mass murders in the US influenced his decision to return to live in the UK.

In an interview the observerDeputy GuardianPosted on Sunday, the Black Sabbath rocker revealed his desire to return to his home country after more than 25 years living in North America.

He and his wife Sharon Osbourne explained that the singer’s health, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, had nothing to do with the decision.

“I know people think that,” Sharon Osbourne said. This is not the case. It’s about time. America has changed a lot. This is not America. There is no unity in this. It’s a very strange place to live now.”

The singer also clarified what motivated him to make the move.

“Everything there is ridiculous. I am saddened to see people being killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot and killed in school shootings. There was a mass shooting in Vegas at this concert… it’s crazy,” the 73-year-old singer continued, “referring to the gunman who killed 60 people and injured over 4,000 at a country music festival in Los Angeles. Vegas in 2017.

“I don’t want to die in America,” he added. I don’t want to be buried in this fuckin’ forest lawn, referring to a California cemetery where many celebrities are buried.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are set to return to their home countries in February 2023.
