Favorite Ki Hwi Kwan won the statuette for his role in “Everything, Everywhere, Everything at Once”. Recalling his journey as a refugee and fulfilling his “American dream,” the actor cried with joy and thanked his family.

Favorite Jamie Lee Curtis also beat out other favorite Angela Bassett for her portrayal of a sly Revenue Service employee in the insane “Everything, Everywhere, Every Time.”

The actress welcomed the entire cast of the sci-fi film before remembering that her parents were named in their time before exclaiming, incredibly, “I just won an Oscar.”
