New York, United States | French star Omar Sy, who achieved global success on Netflix with the series Lupine, signed a pioneering contract with the American platform to develop new films in which the actor will star and produce, on Tuesday.

“Netflix has entered into a multi-year film contract with stand-up comedian and actor Omar Sy. The US giant said in a statement that the deal will see Paris and Los Angeles-based production company Sy develop original films for Netflix, with Sy as actor and executive producer.
Citing Omar Sy in the press release, he said he was “very happy to have the opportunity to continue his relationship” with Netflix and “look forward to this next step in their joint adventure.”
