No way home? – Marseille news

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are returning to their roles as Spider-Man in No Way Home, the movie’s biggest spoiled secret. We’ve seen countless leaks throughout the year that provided plenty of evidence that both actors were filming scenes for the upcoming Spider-Man movie. This will be their first appearance in the MCU, as they join Tom Holland in introducing the first live-action Spider-Man multiverse. This spoiler is so big that there is no way to really avoid it at this point, even if you hate spoilers. And this spoiler is driving the conversation about No Way Home online in a way we haven’t seen since Avengers: Endgame.

However, there are Spider-Man fans who are skeptical about the leaks, which is a reasonable answer. After all, Sony and Marvel haven’t really started the film’s final marketing campaign. They haven’t confirmed that Maguire and Garfield are in the movie, and the first trailer shows only Dutchman Peter Parker. But Sony’s latest move gives us another clear sign that former Spider-Man actors will be appearing in No Way Home.

Maguire and Garfield Spider-Man movies get new 4K sets

Sony made five live-action Spider-Man films before teaming up with Marvel to bring Dutch Peter Parker to the MCU. Tobey Maguire appeared in three of them: Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spider-Man 3 (2007). Andrew Garfield stepped in to replace Parker in 2012 for the first The Amazing Spider-Man, and the sequel was dropped in 2014.

Interestingly, No Way Home will be the second time Maguire appears in the final episode of the Spider-Man trilogy. For Garfield, this would be his first time. TASM did not have the third installment before.

These are all the movies you should review before No Way Home to remind yourself of the good, bad and ugly things about those movies. After all, the new Spider-Man will feature heroes and villains from those universes, which means we’re ready for Spidey Easter Eggs.

You can easily find these 5 Spider-Man movies on streaming services right now. You can rent or buy digital copies from digital movie stores. But Sony gives you another option. The company will release new 4K boxes for each franchise. It’s all happening on November 8, according to DigitalSpy.

Just in time for No Way Home

Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man set will retail for £19.99 in the UK. Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy is more expensive at £29.99 because it comes with a third disc.

Sony is trying to make the most of No Way Home in a year when some moviegoers still dread returning to the movies. The new Spider-Man is sure to set pandemic box office records, but that’s all there is to it. With all the No Way Home excitement, it makes sense for Sony to try to sell more Spider-Man merchandise, including the new 4K re-release of the old Spider-Man franchises.

But that’s not the only reason Sony pulled the trigger. The first trailer actually showed that Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) was in the movie. He also harassed four other non-MCU Sony movie villains: Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, and The Lizard. These are the villains that Maguire and Garfield had to face in their films. And if you’re going to bring the bad guys into the MCU, bring the superheroes.

Remember that we humans don’t celebrate villains. All the stories we tell for entertainment, from books to video games and movies, have one thing in common. Good victories, no matter how complicated, dark or heartbreaking the story. That is, Sony is not inviting fans to celebrate the bad guys by re-releasing these sets. As impressive as they are, we care more about the heroes – Peter Parker’s variants of Maguire and Garfield.

With that in mind, this can be seen as another step that confirms Sony’s previous Spider-Men comeback in the new movie.

another thing

If you still don’t think the new sets are yet another confirmation from Sony on the return of the old Spider-Men, there’s one more thing to consider. According to the latest rumors, the second trailer for No Way Home is scheduled to be released sometime in mid-November. Leaks say Sony and Marvel will show Maguire and Garfield in Spider-Man costumes in this trailer.

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in cinemas December 17th.
