Lords Stuart Pollack, James Arbuthnot, Alastair Colin, Leckie Campbell and Eric Pickles are some of the most influential British MPs in their country. These Conservative MPs continue to make their voices heard in the prestigious House of Lords in the United Kingdom.
The five representatives met on Tuesday, May 2, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Nationals Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the President of the Council of Advisors. With Enam Mayara, it was a question of ways to strengthen and consolidate the ties of parliamentary cooperation between the House of Councilors and the British House of Lords.
Speaking at the end of this discussion, M.P. Lord Stuart Pollack welcomed the positive ties linking London with Rabat, noting that a parliamentary delegation was visiting Morocco to learn from Morocco and encourage continued action in various fields.
The Conservative MP also indicated that the delegation visiting the southern provinces will continue its visit to Morocco to better understand the situation in the Moroccan Sahara.
British MPs who expressed interest in visiting Lyon, while welcoming the proposal of an Anglo-Moroccan Parliamentary Dialogue Forum, stressed that the UK and the Kingdom of Morocco share similar challenges and concerns.
