Microsoft claims that it designed its Windows 11 operating system to facilitate communication with others, as well as to provide a sense of calm and serenity at work.
Windows 11, developed and marketed by Microsoft, will be available on October 5, 2021. Some eligible Windows 10 PCs may therefore be updated. Windows 11 PCs will also begin to be made available for purchase.
According to Microsoft, Windows 11 is “the hybrid business operating system” where “the computer continues to play a central role in our lives more than ever before.”
As a result, Microsoft claims that the chat feature of its Teams communications app has been integrated into the taskbar of the latest version of Windows to provide a faster way to communicate with others.
Microsoft also claims to have developed an interface and sounds for the latest version of Windows that “provide a sense of calm and serenity.”
In addition, the start menu of the interface, as a usual starting point for work, will show users the latest files they have worked on, even if the work is done on another device, thanks to the cloud computing capabilities and subscription services of Microsoft 365.
Microsoft is adding plans to maintain support and updates for Windows 10 until October 14, 2025.
