Messi and Neymar will be playable characters in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Paul Pogba are said to be playable characters in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

Over the years, the Call of Duty series has seen many crossovers and collaborations with many celebrities.

Call Of Duty: Warzone added characters from Terminator, Rambo, and Die Hard, while Call Of Duty: Vanguard allowed players to play as legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.

There are rumors that developers Activision are planning to include several high-profile footballers in Modern Warfare II, which will be released in the UK on October 28.

A list of soccer players has been found in leaked game files.

While the game has yet to be released, a rumored leak may be from the beta version that was released last month.

TheGhostOfHope, author of the Call of Duty leak, posted a list of players on Twitter, including Messi, Neymar and Pogba, fueling speculation about the three players’ participation in the game.

The full list includes Axel, Connor, Gromsko, Klaus, Luna, Messi, Neymar, Pogba, Reyes, Rose.

Fans have speculated that Messi, Neymar and Pogba may appear in the game as a potential crossover event during the World Cup in Qatar, which begins on November 20.

Argentine star Messi and Brazilian star Neymar are scheduled to participate in the tournament, while Pogba faces a race against time to play for the France national team after suffering a knee injury before the season with Juventus.

Fans are divided over whether Messi, Neymar and Pogba will be good additions to Modern Warfare II.
