Massachusetts | A car crashed into an Apple Store, killing at least one person and injuring 16

(New York) A car crashed into the window of an Apple Store in suburban Boston on Monday, killing at least one person and injuring 16, authorities said.

“A dark-colored SUV drove at an undetermined speed through the window, hitting several people,” Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz told a news conference hours after the crash.

He added that “the investigation is open and ongoing” as the authorities have not yet determined whether the act was premeditated or not.

Firefighters said on Twitter that the car rammed into the store, “injuring several people inside”.

A hospital spokeswoman said that the injured were taken to a hospital about five kilometers from the store.
