Montreal Canadiens’ Len Hutson scored another amazing goal as the Americans beat Sweden 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday in Finland.
The United States finished the preliminary round of the World Hockey Championship with seven wins and no losses. They finished first in the Group A standings, ahead of the Swedes.

Hutson scored the third goal for his team. In the second period, the defenseman stole the puck from an opponent’s Wolfe in the offensive zone. He finished his maneuver with an excellent shot from his wrists at the top of the net.
After a second-round pick in 2022 by CH, the Americans took a 3-1 lead, but Sweden didn’t say their last word and scored twice in the third period. Leo Carlsson and Timothy Lillegren scored the goals.
It was Dylan Samberg who gave the USA the win in overtime. The Winnipeg Jets back was forgotten in the pocket and he didn’t miss his chance.
