Lamborghini Squadra Corse announces a new model!

The racing team Is splitting Lamborghini Responsible for the brand’s operating activities, and has something new on the way. This appears to be a file Huracan Tweaked a little (too much?), With a monster body structure ready for the track.

The teaser video doesn’t give us much information. Squadra Corse confirms that this is it ‘All-new sports car’ And promise ‘An unprecedented experience’.

The revised and revised Huracan features narrow headlights and minimalist taillights. The fenders are wide and there are holes in the upper part of the rear fenders. It is unclear exactly where Lamborghini intends to operate this vehicle. The company is currently building the Huracan for international GT3 class competitions and Super Trofeo for the One Design Series manufacturers. Since there is no need to adhere to specific rules, a branding event appears to be more likely where Squadra Corse can create what it wants.

Earlier in April, Squadra Corse celebrated building the 400th Huracan race. The Super Trofeo version of the machine debuted in 2014, and the GT3 debuted the scene in 2015. Along the way, the Model achieved three straight victories in the Daytona 24 Hours and won Sebring 12 Hours twice.

Current Super Trofeo shares about 70% with Huracan Road. The changes include the installation of a sequential gearbox, aerodynamic adjustment and changes to the engine management system.

Squadra Corse has also worked on the Huracan STO, for Super Trofeo Omologata (above), which is a road version of a race car. It uses carbon fiber for more than 75% of the bodywork, which allows the model to weigh less than 43 kilograms Huracan Performance. New exterior parts produce 53% more downforce than the Performante.

The engine is a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 639 hp (470 kW) and 565 Nm. The Brembo CCM-R Carbon Ceramic brakes slow the car down. The price is € 29,294 (20% VAT).
