Koeman reveals he’s a Bolton fan, grew up watching Jay-Jay Okocha and Kevin Nolan

He is one of the most decorated players in world football. At 26, Kingsley Coman won the league title in every season of his career.

In fact, the France international has won ten league titles in 10 seasons since he started his football career at Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 16.

He achieved more success last season when Bayern Munich were crowned German champions for the tenth year in a row.

From scoring the winning goal in the Champions League final against his former club Paris Saint-Germain to winning league titles in Italy, Germany and France, Koeman continues to achieve success in club football.

Who did you admire when you grew up? Bayern Munich striker Ronaldinho and Franck Ribery were cited as his idols and no one dared, but what about Jay-Jay Okocha and Kevin Nolan?

In an interview with ESPN, Koeman talked about the English club he supported growing up – and that may come as a surprise to many.

The former Juventus winger was asked: “If you had to support a team in the UK, who would it be?”.

After taking a few seconds to address the question, Koeman replied, “Bolton,” before laughing at the answer. “I loved this team when I was young,” he added.

Omar Koeman points out that he may have grown up watching the likes of Kevin Davis, Ricardo Gardner and Jussi Jaskelinen on Sam Allardyce’s sixth-placed team in the 2004/05 season.

Koeman’s revelation of his love for Bolton sparked a lot of comments on social media.
