Iran rejects Western accusations against its activities

(Tehran) – Tehran, on Friday, described the declaration made by the United States and European countries the day before as “illegitimate”, which assured Iran’s neighbors that their security interests would be taken into account in upcoming negotiations on Iran’s nuclear energy.

Paris, Berlin, London and Washington on Thursday condemned Iran’s “destabilizing activities” in the region, “including the use and transfer of ballistic missiles and drones” to allied militias, and affirmed the support of the Islamic Republic’s neighbors “to address the broader region in the region.” security concerns.

“This meeting and this announcement are so artificial and illegitimate that they are not worth the trouble of responding,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh responded in a press statement.

« Le gouvernement des États-Unis, responsable de la situation actuelle en se retirant de l’accord sur le nucléaire, tente une fois de plus de provoquer une crise et de mener une campagne de propagande contre l’Iran », at- confirms.

Talks stalled since June in Vienna are due to resume on November 29 between Tehran, Germany, China, France, the United Kingdom and Russia to salvage the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

This deal was supposed to radically limit Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for relief from economic sanctions, but it has been moribund since the United States unilaterally withdrew from it in 2018 and reimposed sanctions. On the other hand, Tehran gradually abandoned its commitments.

The United States should participate indirectly in the discussions.
