Apple today continues beta testing of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. The company has released iOS 15 beta 5 and iPadOS 15 beta 5 to developers, and they are now rolling out through the Settings app on iPhone and iPad.
iOS 15 beta 5 and iPadOS 15 beta 5 are available to developers via a direct update in the Settings app. As usual, if the update does not immediately appear for download, keep checking, as sometimes it can take a few minutes for it to roll out to all registered developers. Today’s iOS 15 beta 5 version number is 19A5318f.
The new version of Apple’s software won’t be completed until the fall, when it will be rolled out to the general public. Testers still have to expect performance and stability issues when running iOS 15 beta on major devices for now. Check out our full guide to see if you need to run the iOS 15 beta.
iOS 15 beta 4 was released on July 27 and included a few notable changes, including ongoing changes to a popular Safari overhaul. Other changes include official MagSafe battery support, new Podcast tools on iPad, and more.
