In parallel with macOS Big Sur 11.4, Apple is releasing a new version of iOS with the availability of iOS 14.6. The update introduces new features on the Podcast, AirTag and subtitles side. We also have several bug fixes.
iOS 14.6 is available for iPhone users. This update brings a lot of things. It is now possible to subscribe to individual channels and podcasts.
A new option has appeared in Lost Mode that allows you to add an email address instead of a phone number for AirTags and extensions in Find My network. AirTags now display the owner’s partially hidden phone number when connected to an NFC device. It is possible to use Voice Control to unlock iPhone for the first time after restarting with your voice.
iOS 14.6 and bug fixes
Apple publishes bug fixes. We have resolved an issue with unlocking the iPhone using the Apple Watch after using the “Lock iPhone” feature of the Apple Watch. Fixed blank fonts error instead of callbacks.
Call barring accessories usually appear in Settings no longer a thing of the past as is the case with the issue of disconnecting Bluetooth devices during a call.
To all this, improvements have been added to the iPhone device so that its performance is no longer restricted during startup.
IOS 14.6 targets iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad (5th generation) and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation). Just like macOS, we also have several security fixes, and their details Here.
Due to the “security” nature of this update, it is highly recommended that you install it as soon as possible. To update iPhone, just go to this address
