How to watch Styrian Grand Prix online from anywhere – Marseille News

The 2021 Formula 1 season continues and over the next two weeks the teams and drivers will be in Austria for the Styria Grand Prix and then the Austrian Grand Prix and we have all the details on how to watch this weekend’s race online.

Last year, for the first time, Grand Prix races were held on the same track as Formula 1 had to change its schedule due to the pandemic. However, since each Grand Prix must have its own name, it was decided that one of the two races should be called the Styrian Grand Prix and the name comes from the region of Austria where the event is being held. Since hosting two races in Austria last year, Formula 1 has decided to keep both events on its calendar for 2021.

This weekend’s Styria Grand Prix will be held at the Red Bull Ring circuit in Spielberg, Austria, which was originally called the Osterreichring when the track was built in 1969 to replace the Zeltweg Airport circuit. The track itself has ten laps total, the circuit is 2.68 miles (4,318 km) long and drivers will complete 71 laps before completing the 190-mile (306 km) race. Former McLaren driver and now Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr. set a lap record of just over one minute and five seconds at the Styria Grand Prix last year.

At the French Grand Prix last weekend, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished first, followed by Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in second and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez in third. Verstappen’s recent wins have put him top of the F1 standings in 2021 with 131 points, although Hamilton isn’t far behind on 119. Meanwhile, Perez climbed up the standings and is now third after climbing to a podium finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in early June.

Whether you’re a fan of Verstappen, Hamilton or Perez or just want to watch the first two Formula 1 races in Austria this year, we’ll show you how to watch the Styrian Grand Prix from anywhere in the world.
