Gerandi, on this occasion, stimulated the continued support provided by the United States of America to Tunisia, both at the bilateral and multilateral level, and in particular the assistance provided to the country to overcome the repercussions of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The two parties also discussed the possibilities of enhancing and expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries to include new sectors of high added value within the framework of a new approach that takes into account the peculiarities of the international situation.

The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, and Prime Minister Najla Boden received the American ambassador, on the occasion of the end of his mission in Tunisia.
