Fortnite DOWN – How long does it take for Fortnite offline to maintain server 20.10 update? | Games | entertainment

Fortnite developer, Epic Games is taking the game offline for server maintenance as part of Update 20.10. Fortnite’s next major update has an April 5 release date for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and Switch. However, unfortunately, update 20.10 will be released along with a server crash, which means that there will be no Fortnite for at least a few hours. If you’re wondering how long Fortnite can stay offline for server maintenance, check out the details below for the full 20.10 update downtime table.

According to Epic Games on Twitter, Fortnite matchmaking will be disabled at 8.30am GMT in the UK.

If you’re already in a match before 8:30am, you can continue playing until the servers are completely offline at 9:00am UK time.

Starting at 9 AM GMT (4 AM ET), no one will be able to play Fortnite, and anyone who is already in the game will be kicked out until the end of maintenance.

“Get ready, update v20.10 is scheduled for April 5th. Downtime will start at 4:00AM ET with matchmaking off 30 minutes early,” Epic tweeted.

Although there is no official end time for server maintenance, the downtime usually lasts about two hours.

Unless something goes wrong, that means you’ll be able to return to Fortnite around 11am GMT at the latest. Express Online will keep this article updated with any new developments.

As for what you can expect from the new update, update 20.10 will introduce Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Eivor Varinsdottir skins.

The new Assassin’s Creed Crossover game will be released with skins, Back Bling Gliders and an axe.
