FISE in the spotlight at Canet-en-Roussillon

FISE Xperience Series 2021 gathered one hundred riders in front of a crowd of spectators at the tenth edition of the event in Canet-en-Roussillon.

Having become a fixture in France’s urban sporting calendar, the event once again kept its promise to bring together participants in the categories of kids, juniors, amateurs and professionals to showcase their performances to a crowd dominated by their passion. The BMX Flatland shows, performed by such icons of the discipline as Alex Jumelin and his sons Nathan and Gabin, ensured arousing invitations among the youngsters.

The French in the meeting

Argentina, Colombia, Hungary, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain … Many countries were represented on the huge slopes of the Freestyle Park assembled in the Théâtre de la Mer. In the face of this global crowd, the highest levels of French assembled giving Canétois the best advantage of their personalities, competing in capacity and technique.

Local practitioners, particularly from Occitanie, also grabbed some places on the podium. Among them are Anthony Gangin and Estefan Kaye, both of whom recently returned from the Olympics in Tokyo, representing France with dignity in the BMX Freestyle Park’s debut in the program of this emblematic event.

Next meeting in Reims

Following the success of this second stage of the FISE Xperience Series, the riders will actually gather in Reims on September 25-26 for the final stage of the 2021 season. In a brand new location downtown, the Freestyle Park will be specially assembled. To host BMX, Roller and Scooter competitions.
