Federal search for Rudy Giuliani’s New York apartment

The attorney for the former New York Mayor, a Republican, confirmed that a search warrant had been carried out and that federal investigators confiscated the computers.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan have opened an investigation into Rudy Giuliani’s business ties with Ukraine, including his efforts to push Ukrainian authorities to investigate allegations ahead of the US presidential election last November, which are now targeting President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, who have denied wrongdoing.

A spokesman for the Manhattan Attorney General’s office declined a request for comment.

Two of Giuliani’s former assistants, Lev Parnas and Igor Froman, For violating campaign finance rules and other crimes.
