Duvaltex is a leader in commercial fabrics, and is one of Canada’s top managed companies in 2022. The winners were announced on May 10 by Deloitte Canada.
This program recognizes the excellence of Canadian companies that have distinguished themselves for their overall performance and continued growth. Competition continues to be the hallmark of distinction for Canadian owned and operated companies that have over $50 million in revenue.
“We are proud to receive this recognition. Despite this turbulent period, we have been able to capitalize on business opportunities and continue to grow. The well-being of our employees has remained at the core of our priorities,” said Alain Duval, President and CEO.
Duvaltex is particularly proud of three initiatives. Established in March 2022, Duvaltex Academy offers continuing education programs focused on project management, innovation, processes and technologies. The first group of 12 people just started the journey.
The company has in recent months stepped up its presence in the technical textiles segment for the personal protection markets, particularly in the military as well as in the police and fire services. Its expertise in engineering and manufacturing high performance textile materials is recognized worldwide.
Duvaltex continues to invest in research and development of innovative and environmentally responsible products. This particularly includes 100% biodegradable, post-consumer recycled polyester fabrics and textile solutions made from recycled ocean plastic.
In addition to the head office in Quebec, the company has plants in Saint-Georges, Beauceville and Saint-Victor, as well as in the United States in Guilford (Maine) and Grand Rapids (Michigan).
