Does Serena Williams imitate Tom Brady?

Tennis legend Serena Williams opened the door to a return to competition after retiring at the end of the last US Open.

She mentioned twice recently, during her transition to American TV Shows, Tom Brady.

“We never know. I’m just saying I think Tom Brady started a really ‘cool’ trend,” Williams told ABC’s Good Morning America.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner is referring to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback who announced his retirement last winter before changing his mind to finally play the 23rd season in the NFL in 2022.

Williams decided to put his racket away a few weeks ago and officially retire after his fourth major championship of the season. She played her last match in the third round of this confrontation, losing her flag to Australian Agla Tomljanovic.

Nevertheless, the American intends to remain involved in her sport.

“Tennis has given me so much and I feel there is no way I won’t be involved in some way in the future,” said the 40-year-old. I don’t know yet what this post will be like, but I know I love sports a lot. I love the game and love everything about it. This has been such a light in my life that I really want to be part of it.”
