Dictac makes YouTube a success in the US and UK

The use of short viral videos has surpassed its major competitor. US and UK users now spend more time than YouTube.

This is only a matter of time. After winning the title of the most downloaded application in the world, Facebook continues to tic tac toe counters ahead of Jackner. According to a new report from App Annie BBC, English and American users now spend more time on dictation than on YouTube.

Understand that every Internet user spends most of their time on Dictoc, but this does not mean that the application attracts more visitors than its US counterpart. Globally, YouTube still leads in terms of users, with two billion monthly viewers, against 700 million for Chinese usage.

If we see the hellish progress of dictatorship in our regions and around the world, YouTube will soon be in danger. The Chinese company has already started extending the maximum length of its videos from 1 to 3 minutes and may extend its format to 5 minutes in the future. On the YouTube page, we try to copy Tiktok’s success with short vertical videos, shorts.

In the UK, Dictac overtook YouTube in June 2020 last year, before boosting the time its users spent watching its California rival. Across the Atlantic, the two video sites competed for first place in April 2021 before the Dictac course certainly took off.
