CM – Daniel Dubois UK Fighting for Joe Kusumano Boxing Tonight

British heavyweight Daniel Dubois will be looking to set up a world title fight when Joe Cusumano battles for the Jack Paul bottom card against Tyron Woodley tonight.

Daniel Dubois makes his US debut on the bottom card of Jake Paul against Tyrone Woodley tonight as he faces brave Joe Cusumano in a 10-round heavyweight match.

DuBois was temporarily crowned the WBA Heavyweight Championship when he ousted Bogdan Dino in June, but the sanctioning board has since decided to remove all provisional champions from their belts.

“Triple D” told Mirror Fighting earlier this week that he was aiming to finish “devastated” Cusumano to start a fight with WBA regular heavyweight champion Trevor Bryan.

Cusumano has a 19-3 record and never finished as a professional. The American has not fought since the ouster of Gregory Corbyn last November.

Here’s everything you need to know as Dubois appears to have impressed on his US debut…

UK viewers can watch the fight live on the BT Sport Box Office. The cost of the event is £16.95 in the UK and €29.99 in Ireland and you can buy it here.

Main Card coverage starts at 12:30am and can be accessed on BT TV, Virgin TV and Sky via the web or the BT Sport Box Office app.

Dubois vs Cusumano is the third battle on the main map. The start time will depend on the length of the previous main card battles, but will likely occur between 2 AM and 3 AM.

“I feel good about it and I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to go to America and make my debut.

“We’ll see how I spend more time with Shane McGuigan, but in the gym I look different and better.

“I’m sure Joe Kusumano will come get his A game and that’s what I want because it makes a better fight.

“We’ll face each other out there and the winner takes it all. The name Daniel Dubois is going to break America now.

“I’m ready. I’ve been fighting for a long time and I’m ready to show my skills. I’m much better than what I showed.”

“I’ve really worked on my skills and how to show what I can do. It’s the perfect fight to do that.

“Dobois is a striker like me, and he’s young and hungry. It’s a good fight. We hit hard and fought hard to get, but I think the smarter guy will win.”
