Celtic are in talks with attacking duo Lille Abada and Giorgos Giacomakis over improved contracts.
The Scottish Premier League leaders are eager to reward the duo for their impressive form this season, with 16 goals and two assists already in between.
Both are on contract until 2026, but talks are underway over new five-year deals that will tie them to the club until 2027.
Celtic believe he can be an integral part of the squad for years to come, and also hope further spells will deter potential candidates for the pair, who are being hunted by Premier League clubs.
Abada has scored eight goals in all competitions from Celtic’s wings and set up two more, and is expected to play a key role when he visits the Bernabeu to face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Celtic in talks over Kobayashi deal
Celtic are also in talks with Vissel Kobe regarding centre-back Yuki Kobayashi.
The Hoops are hoping the 22-year-old will join them in the January transfer window.
Should the deal go through, Kobayashi would become Celtic’s fifth Japanese player – with Keigo Furuhashi, Daisen Maeda, Ryo Hatate and Yusuke Edeguchi at the club.
