The new Beat Them All game with a retro flavor
This new title will allow players to play Obelix or Asterix and play two in cooperation with another player. Asterix & Obelix: Obviously, their slaps all come to us from a French studio, just like the original series. The studio, called Mr. Nutz Studio, consisted of two enthusiasts, Pierre Adan and Philippe Desoulé, who chose to hand-draw the characters, groups and animations. This is how the game manages the visual to closely resemble the original material. A huge drawing assignment, but it was well worth it when you look at the first pictures of the game provided by the studio.
As for the story, Asterix and Obelix: Slap Them All are inspired by several symbolic volumes of the series to build. So you will pass through different places that are well known to fans of the series. As for the enemies you’ll encounter during the adventure, expect to slap the Romans often! Classic enemy of the series, we can’t miss a good encounter with the Romans, but other types of enemies will also appear. Pirates, thieves, and Normans are also expected to participate in the game.
Asterix and Obelix: Slap Them All will be available in Fall 2021 on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC / MAC. The game will also be compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. Microids are expected to reveal more information about the game in the coming months.
