Android TV grabs some of Google TV’s best features

The Google TV interface, based on the Android operating system, has taken advantage of additional features powered by artificial intelligence and the built-in Google Assistant. However, the Mountain View giant is seeking to unify functions in order to smooth out the differences between the two interfaces.

As Android Police reports, the first of these features is the Discover tab. starting now Users will be able to improve content recommendations Browse through different cards and indicate whether they like or hate the content of those cards. Android TV will take these answers into account to bring you more relevant series, movies, and documentaries.

Another new feature is the new Watch List. You can add any content you want to watch later. Users can add programs by pressing and holding the Discover tab and selecting Add to list to view later. As expected, this information is also accessible on Android TV from the mobile application.

On Android TV, previews are turned on automatically

Finally, Android TV offers an improved detail view. The goal is to provide a “more immersive” experience by displaying more content. In addition, Previews will be read automatically. However, this feature may not appeal to everyone. The good news is that it can be turned off easily.
