New Hampshire police are searching for a seven-year-old girl who has been missing for more than two years, but was not reported missing until earlier this week.
Harmony Montgomery, now seven, is said to have been last seen in October 2019 at a Manchester hotel.
CNN reported that investigators are unable to locate her after that date.
“I have a full-time sergeant-in-chief working on this investigation. I don’t doubt for one moment that they were involved. We will investigate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if necessary,” Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said Friday at a news conference.
The policeman did not give details of how his investigators learned of the disappearance this week, simply adding that only a few family members have been found.
“We don’t have a suspect in sight. The only person we’re interested in at the moment is Harmony. I want all the attention to be on this little girl,” Aldenburg said.
A description of the five-year-old was given to local media. Pictures of the blonde, blue-eyed girl wearing glasses were shared in an attempt to collect the testimony.
“If you think you saw this little girl a year ago and think it doesn’t matter, contact us anyway!” We have a two year window that we need to renew. “We are taking all the information that can help us find harmony,” the police chief said.
