After Covit-19, Morocco and the UK want to cooperate more actively

Foreign Minister Nasser Burida spoke eloquently via video conference with Foreign Minister of the Middle East and North Africa James on Friday. An opportunity to seek bilateral cooperation between Rabat and London and to explore opportunities for its growth in the coming years.

During their meeting, the two ministers praised the significance of the historic relationship between Morocco and the United Kingdom and reiterated the importance of defining the priorities of a joint roadmap for the post-Cowit era, as well as the desired strategic partnership between the two countries.

On this occasion, Nasser Borita and the British official welcomed the implementation of the Brexit post-union agreement, the implementation of the Union Council and the events of the 3rd session of the planned strategic dialogue in London.

They also underscored the importance of opening up bilateral federations to new value chains such as new axes of cooperation and the green economy, especially in the context of the next COP26. Therefore, both parties acknowledged the importance of further promoting triangular cooperation to Africa, mainly in the economic and investment sectors.

Mr. Wisely during his speech, he did not fail to congratulate Morocco after adopting the new development model, while at the same time welcoming the role of the Kingdom, a pillar of regional stability and a privileged partner in Africa.
